STREPP is preparing a digital learning platform designed for researchers, clinicians, programme teams, Ministry of Health focal persons, partners, and emerging leaders working to turn evidence into stronger paediatric and adolescent HIV programmes across Africa.
The upcoming STREPP learning platform is being designed as a living classroom for Africa’s paediatric and adolescent HIV community — a place where evidence, programme experience, policy learning, and implementation tools can be organised, taught, discussed, tested, and applied.
Powered by Moodle, the platform will support structured courses, interactive learning activities, downloadable resources, quizzes, assignments, learner progress, certificates, peer discussion, and practical communities of learning. The goal is simple: help people learn better, collaborate faster, and translate knowledge into stronger programmes.
Move from beginner-friendly modules to advanced implementation science, programme leadership, and research-to-policy learning.
Learn through videos, readings, quizzes, assignments, discussion forums, downloadable tools, and reflection activities.
Track progress through courses and recognise learning milestones with completion records and certificates.
Access guidelines, toolkits, frameworks, templates, conference materials, country learning notes, and implementation resources.
The platform will extend STREPP’s conference, research, implementation science, and country-learning work into a year-round digital space. Instead of learning ending when a meeting closes, participants will be able to return to courses, tools, discussions, and follow-up resources.
Practical training on implementation questions, study designs, adaptation, scale-up, monitoring, evaluation, and learning systems.
A home for country teams to share tools, learning notes, programme models, barriers, and practical solutions across Africa.
Support for abstract writing, research presentation, evidence communication, mentorship, and translating findings into action.
Curated learning around paediatric HIV, adolescent services, PMTCT, retention, differentiated care, transition, and family-centred support.
Modules and tools that help teams move from guidelines and evidence to implementation plans, stakeholder engagement, and service improvement.
Discussion forums, cohort spaces, expert sessions, peer support, and ongoing exchange long after trainings and conferences end.
The platform is being prepared as a bridge between STREPP’s conferences, country collaboratives, implementation science training, and resource-sharing work.
Introductory modules, platform orientation, first learner groups, and foundational resources for STREPP communities.
Pre-conference preparation, post-conference materials, speaker resources, abstract skills, and structured learning follow-up.
Dedicated learning spaces for PAHLCA teams, IPHASA participants, implementation science cohorts, and partner-led training groups.
Use learner feedback, course completion, assessments, and programme needs to continuously improve the learning experience.
The STREPP learning platform will be designed for busy health professionals and programme teams: clear pathways, practical modules, accessible resources, and learning that connects directly to field realities.
Too much valuable programme learning remains trapped inside meetings, slide decks, WhatsApp threads, and one-off trainings. A dedicated digital platform gives STREPP a way to preserve that knowledge, structure it into courses, make it accessible to new learners, and keep communities connected between major events.
The result is a stronger learning ecosystem: one where researchers, policymakers, clinicians, implementers, youth advocates, and country teams can return to the same trusted space for training, resources, discussion, and action-oriented learning.
A Moodle-powered platform for implementation science, paediatric and adolescent HIV learning, conference preparation, country exchange, and practical capacity building across Africa.
